SMC Recognized as 2007 Recipient of N.S.S.G.A. Excellence in Community Relations Award

The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association announced that the SMC's Kasota Quarry has been recognized as a recipient of the "2007 Bronze Excellence in Community Relations Award". 

This award was established in 1989 to recognize aggregate producers whose community involvement and support of activities have enhanced the public's perception of the aggregates industry in general and public image of the individual producer's aggregate operation.

SMC annually underwrites the "Rockin in the Quarry" event held at the Kasota Quarry each June.  For more information on Rockin in the Quarry please view that site on our website.
